Customer Service

The customer service I received was excellent. I asked many questions regarding the product, to which I received detailed answers within 1-2 days. I contacted them via email and whatsapp. I always received polite and well spoken responses.

Product Quality

The quality of the paint is great. It drys quickly so when painting onto the soles it needs to be done swiftly. The paint separates, so you need to shake the jar often to have the best shade throughout the jar and to start the chemical reaction. The paint has a strong odor due to the chemical reaction, painting should be done in a well ventilated area. The paint is "tacky" after 10 minutes, and extra layers can be reapplied on top of the current painted layer, which is ideal for heavily worn areas. The colour is a slightly darker shade of red from the original Christian Louboutin paint and is also has a slightly glossy finish. The paint is much stronger against abrasions than the original Christian Louboutin paint.

Delivery Time & Cost

I received the product 11 days after payment. My purchase cleared UK customs without any problems. The delivery cost was the same as the cost of the product, so hopefully in future, costs could be reduced if the company grows in size and popularity. 

Final Rating and recommendations

I was really impressed with this product, and it restored heavily worn Christian Louboutin soles to a high standard. If you want to keep your Christian Louboutin soles red, and dislike the look of worn and scuffed soles, then be sure to give this product a try. The price is roughly the same as other similar products on the market such as "save my soles" and "red soles" but the quality is far greater.

Make sure to wash your brushes between reapplying and once you have finished painting as this dries quickly and the bristles of the paintbrush will stick together. I recommend using an acrylic paint thinner to wash out the paint and to prevent any damages to the brush.

Heavy Wear

If you are looking to repaint the whole front part of your sole (the toe and ball area) then I recommend using a 1"inch oil paintbrush with natural bristles, for an even application. You may need to reapply up to 3 times for a good finish. To avoid paint from accidentally going on the upper material of the shoes, use masking tape for protection. This also provides the edge with a neat finish. 

Light Wear

If you are looking to touch up small areas on the sole use a thin oil paint brush (1/2"inch or less) and apply only to the worn areas.

My final rating for this product would be a 4.5 out of 5. 

The paint is a close match to the original, and is much stronger. It can easily be applied with an oil paintbrush. The presentation and customer service is excellent. I have found that one 30ml jar of red sole paint can restore 3 pairs of heavily worn soles. For the Decollete 868 Black Jazz Leather shoes in the example, I used a "Hamilton, Perfection, 1"inch pure bristle oil paint brush" and 2 coats of the Sole Galore red sole paint to restore the worn areas.
