My Thoughts
American shoe designer Brian Atwood created his signature 'Maniac' pumps with a unique almond shaped toe, and a concealed platform. The 'Maniac' was extremely popular in the early-mid 2010's, an a clear favorite with American actress Eva Longoria as she was often spotted wearing them in many different colours. This pair is the 140mm (approx 5.5inches) version, with a concealed 40mm (approx 1.5 inches) platform. The colour is an ivory with a very light and delicate pink hue. The material is made of a silk-satin and feels soft to the touch. As like most designer shoes, these were made in Italy, with a leather sole and leather lining. These would be great shoes for bride which need that that extra height, and love fashion. Alternatively, I liked how Jennifer Lopez styled them with a pair of black shorts and ruffled top. In my recommended outfit I thought these shoes would look great with a pair of black wide legged pants, with the unique toe shape being seen, but hiding the extreme height of the heels. Due to the height of the platform, the shoes feel like wearing a 4 inch heel, and the toe shape won't squash your toes. A great alternative to the YSL tribtoo pumps.
