My Thoughts
The 'Ari' classic pointed toe pump by London based iconic fashion designer Jimmy Choo. The 'Ari' is similar in style to the popular classic 'abel' pump, with a few updated changes. Of these the most noticeable is the loafer style cut out tongue across the toe line. The heel height of the ari is 110mm (4.3 inches) which is between the heights of the classic Anouk (120mm) and the Abel (100mm). The upper material is made of watersnake (from Thailand) with a metallic finish. The 'bilberry' colour is a gorgeous purple-hue.
These shoes were part of the spring summer 2014 campaign which featured australian actress and film producer Nicole Kidman as the face of the collection. Nature unleashed, with the modern jungle was the inspiration for the collection.
A honey gold version of these shoes were seen on British-Lebanese lawyer, activist, and author Amal Clooney, at the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures' 'Our Brand Is Crisis' at TCL Chinese Theatre on October 26, 2015 in Hollywood, California.
The unique cut out toe line and super skinny heel gives a fresh take on the classic pointed toe pump. These shoes are great for fashionista's which have the confidence to wear statement or unique dresses.
