My Thoughts

The 'Classic Janis 105' is one of my favourite styles along with the 'Tribtoo' by French luxury fashion house Saint Laurent founded by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Bergé. The 'Classic Janis' has a 125mm (approximately 5.1 inches) thin heel and a 25mm (approximately 1 inch) bevelled platform. The upper material is made of a glossy smooth patent leather, which is very shiny when the light catches it. I love the shape of the pointed toe, it's more sharper/chiseled compared to the standard pointed styles by other designers. The insole is made of 100% leather, and cushioned for comfort. The sole is also leather, with a black semi gloss finish. Similar to Christian Louboutin's shoes, when worn on abrasive materials i.e pavement, wood floors, gravel, the black finish will start to come of, leaving the leather exposed. The shoes are just phenomenal, and can be worn with so many outfits, ranging from classic black dresses, to ripped jeans and a graphic printed top. A great pair of shoes for those that love the added height from the platform, and that edgy yet classic style.
