My Thoughts

British fashion designer designed this pair of glittery classic pointed toe pumps for her Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The 'Lola' is Sophia's version of the classic pointed toe pump, adding her glitz and glamorous style with a pastel glitter-finish. Sophia, a former teenage competitive dancer, clearly designed these shoes with the thoughts of dancing the night away. The glitter material looks amazing under the disco ball, and with a 90mm (3.5 inch) high heel, and a padded insole, they are certainly suited for the task. The sole is made of leather and has Sophia's unique stitching design, with the stitched love heart. These shoes would also be suited for guests attending a wedding or a fashionista on a romantic dinner date.

Sophia is a multiple time fashion award winner. These awards include; the Conde Nast Footwear Emerging Designer of the Year (2012), British Fashion Award for Emerging Accessories Designer (2013), and the British Fashion Council’s NewGen Award for her first 3 consecutive seasons. Sophia was awarded with the BFC Vogue Fashion Fund (2016), making her the 2nd shoe designer ever to win this award.

Sophia Webster's unique shoe designs have been worn by many celebrities in an arrange of styles. These celebrities include Lea Michele, Hailey Baldwin, Gal Gadot, Chrissy Teigen, Jourdan Dunn, Karlie Kloss, Emily Blunt, Emily Ratajkowski, Kendall Jenner and Lily Aldridge.

I have recommended pairing them with a 'Lanzi' ivory silk crepe de chine top by Diane von Furstenberg and a 'Catherine' white stretch-twill skinny pants by Lela Rose. The retail price for the 'Lola' was £230 GBP.
