My Thoughts
Classic block heel calf boots by french fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. These boots were named 'Moscow 90' and was part of the fall/winter 2003 collection. From 1999-2004 american fashion designer Tom Ford was the acting creative director of YSL. These classic style calf boots feature a dark brown block heel with a height of (TBA)mm and a (TBA)mm platform. The upper material is make of calf leather in a dark brown colour named 'whiskey'. The boots have an inner zip fastening and a buckle detailing at the top of the boots, with 3 eyelets. The sole is 100% leather. These boots are still fashionable over a decade from when they were released, and look great with plaid shirts and denim jeans tucked into them, for that american texas cowgirl look.
I have paired these Yves Saint Laurent 'Moscow 90' whiskey booties with a ribbed-knit dark grey cashmere cardigan by The Elder Statesman, a white micro modal-blend jersey by Helmut Lang, and a pair of 'The Stunner' frayed high-rise blue skinny jeans by Mother Denim. I accessorized with the outfit with 'The Shopper' small black leather tote by Lanvin. The retail price for these boots was £380 GBP.
