My Thoughts

These shoes are a great alternative version to the popular patent material, and have been worn by celebrities at a wide range of events and award shows. Kate Beckinsale wore these pumps to the Battersea Power Station Global Launch Party held at The London Hotel in LA, and Emmy Rossum wore them to the Sundance Institute New York Benefit held at Stage 37 in NYC. Other celebrities such as Lilly Collins, Khloe Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Kate Bosworth and Rosamund Pike have all been spotted wearing these pumps.

The pencil thin heel and pointed toe makes these one of the sort after designer classic pumps around, The suede material add softness to outfits. These are a great choice for dresses with delicate materials, such as wool. In my recommendation outfit I have chosen a look perfect for an a romantic dinner date.  I have paired these Christian Louboutin 'So Kate' black suede pumps with a 'Leila' black guipure lace and crepe midi dress by Self-Portrait and a 'Love' resin and gold-tone box clutch by Lanvin.  The retail price for these high heels are £425 GBP.

Recommend Pairing

Self-Portrait 'Leila' black guipure lace and crepe midi dress - £310

Lanvin 'Love' resin and gold-tone box clutch - £2,172

Rouge Louboutin… a timeless, vibrant red suited to any skin tone. A true objet d’art of a dramatic 8-inch height inspired by the tallest heel Christian Louboutin ever created- the Ballerina Ultima. The iconic Rouge is encased in a faceted, weighted glass bottle with a unique ombré effect.

  • Highly pigmented, super glossy formula achieves in just two coats the effect of 20 layers of traditional lacquer.

My Thoughts

Have you ever wanted Christian Louboutin's iconic red soles colour for your nails???  Well now you can! The glossy red paint can now be applied to fashionistas that love their manicures as much as their shoes. The colour looks great and when worn with a pair of classic iconic shoes such as the "So Kate" or "Pigalle", it just makes the nails and shoes even more appealing on the eye. When I asked ladies which have tried the product, they did say the polish started to crack and flake after 5-7 days. To increase the duration of the polish before it cracks or flakes, a professional UV top coat gel could be applied. I would suggest contacting a beautician regarding this. I do know that CND have UV protective top coats, such as the Shellac UV and Colour Coat, but these products are to be used by trained beauticians. The Christian Louboutin Rouge nail polish retails for £36 GBP. I think the artistic design of the bottle looks just as great as the nail polish itself. The bottle itself would look great on a dressing table or placed next to a pair of your Christian Louboutin shoes if you have a display case or wardrobe.
