My Thoughts

A gorgeous platform pump in a unique dark green/blue mixed hue, by iconic italian designer label Prada. The 1IP107 style platform pump also referred to as Prada's 'Rolando' pump, is a classic rounded-toe platform pump. These shoes have a 135mm (5.3 inch) high heel, with a 35mm (1.3 inch) hidden platform. The shoes feel like you are walking in a 100mm (4inch) pair of shoes due to the offset between the platform and heel, making them comfortable and easy to walk in, whilst appearing to look like a powerful and towering pump. The colour is called 'Petroleum' which seems to be a shade of turquoise. The colour is beautiful and suits the soft suede material the upper is made from. The lining and inner sole is made of leather in a beige colour, with the prada label stitched into the inner sole. The sole itself is leather, with the contact area made of rubber to protect against abrasions and wear from surfaces like tarmac and gravel. To finish a raised metal gold Prada stamp is located by the engraved 'made in italy' and european size, in the arch of the sole.

These shoes were part of the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. They have been spotted on american actress Dana Delany.
