My Thoughts

These beautiful high heel shoes by designer Brian Atwood are called "donna" and look amazing!. The style is a classic concealed platform pump but with a few twists to make them dainty. The heel has a slight curve and the heel widens at the heel tip. The most noticeable feature to these shoes is the bow detail on the heel and heel upper. The satin ribbon design runs from the base of the heel tip to the top of the upper. This ribbon also has 4 white stitches running along it to give a pinstripe look to it. The shoes are very feminine and look amazing with pinstripe suits in a professional office environment. They also look great with dresses for an evening out someone special. The shoes unique features have made them popular with celebrities on the red carpet and in fashion shoots. The heel itself is 140mm (5.5inches) tall and the concealed platform is 40mm (1.5 inches) in height, giving the true feeling of a 100mm (4 inch) heel when walking. The patent leather in black is classic with the almond shape-toe (almond toe is between pointed and round). The satin bow design looks perfect against the patent leather. There is an alternative version of these shoes in black patent with a red and black bow detail on the heel. These shoes retailed for £495 GBP and are now completely sold out everywhere, and there's no plans to re-release this style again. A wonderful pair of shoes to get your hands on if you can ever see them.

My Thoughts

Okay...firstly ... WOW!!! The amazing Jimmy Choo Anouks in a beautiful valentine red patent leather. Just listed as "red" on the Jimmy Choo store and website, the classic, famous and popular anouk has finally got a luscious red to its collection of colours. Jimmy Choo has flirted with different shades of red, such as "raspberry" and "chilli", but this pure red has to be my favourite. The red patent works great against the beige coloured soft leather sole, and I personally think because of this they are a touch more appealing that Christian Louboutins red patent "So Kate" and "Pigalle" shoes, ( the red sole is too much red overall). Like all anouks, the heel has a height of 120mm (5 inches) and a pointed toe. The soft leather sole provides more grip than Christian Louboutins shoes due to the lacquered sole. The toe box is also slightly wider than both the "So Kate" and "Pigalle" so the toes are less cramped (much more comfortable). Dont get me wrong the "So Kate" and "Pigalle" are both amazing, but the anouk in this colour is just that little bit more appealing in my opinion. The shoes look amazing with white or black suit trousers, elegant simple, classic cut dresses for events, business meeting and dinner dates. These even look great when teamed up with a pair of jeans for a smart casual daytime look. The perfect valentines day shoes!, these shoes will certainly catch your date's or partners gaze and attention. A woman loves to feel confident and sexy, and these shoes do this without question. These shoes are currently only available in Jimmy Choo stores and on the official website. (no online outlets stock them). They are retailing for £375 (GBP). Well worth the money, as they are simply stunning, and Jimmy Choo shoes are of the highest quality.
